Mason Stanbro, PT, DPT, earned his Bachelor of Arts in Exercise Science and Movement with a minor in Biology from the University of Northern Iowa in 2022. He went on to complete his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Creighton University in 2025.

Mason enjoys working with a wide variety of patient populations, with particular interests in orthopedic conditions and post-surgical rehabilitation. His passion for helping patients regain strength, mobility, and confidence drives his patient-centered approach to care.

Originally from Mount Vernon, Iowa, Mason was drawn to Burgess Health Center because of his passion for rural healthcare and the opportunity to serve communities similar to the one where he grew up.

Outside of work, Mason enjoys spending time with his wife and their two dogs. He also likes lifting weights and hunting. A fun fact about Mason is that after sustaining a football injury in high school, he underwent three knee surgeries, an experience that helped inspire his interest in physical therapy and rehabilitation.
