Emalee Willey always knew she wanted to work in healthcare. After talking with her mom, who is also a nurse, she found that nursing was the perfect fit. She enjoys helping people feel better and building strong relationships with her patients.

Emalee earned both her nursing degrees from Morningside University and is certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She takes care of patients of all ages and loves ensuring that each person receives care tailored to their needs.

She began her career on the medical-surgical floor at Burgess and is now excited to work in the clinic. Emalee grew up in Anthon and now lives in Onawa with her husband, who is a local farmer. They enjoy running together, working on their house, and spending time with family and friends.

Fun fact: Emalee ran track and cross country in college!

She says, “At Burgess, we treat you like family. Everyone here works hard to make sure you get the best care.”
