Shannon Kennedy , M.D.

Dr. Shannon Kennedy was an active duty family physician with the 97th Medical Group U.S. Air Force at Altus Air Force Base in Oklahoma before coming to Onawa. She has a bachelor’s and medical degree from the University of South Florida and completed her residency with the 55th Medical Group of the University of Nebraska Medical Center. Kennedy is board certified in family medicine.

Brandon Kovar, M.D.

Dr. Brandon Kovar received his bachelor's degree in biology from Nebraska Wesleyan University in 2002 where he was named an Academic All-American football running back. He earned his medical degree from the University of Nebraska College of Medicine and completed a family medicine residency at Clarkson Family Medicine Residency Program in Omaha. Dr. Kovar has medical and obstetrical privileges.

Joyce Cornwell, ARNP

Joyce earned her BSN in Nursing from Loretto Heights College in 1965. She then graduated from the University of NE Medical Center in 1974 with her MSN and in 1995 with her FNP. Joyce is board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and holds Family Practice privileges at Burgess.
