The Burgess Advantage fall trip, sponsored by Burgess Health Center, will take travelers to the Fremont Dinner Train on Friday, Oct. 24 from 2 p.m. till midnight. Reservations must be made by Sept. 22.

Persons will enjoy a five-course meal and the choice of a mystery theater production or USO show. Persons will be seated in the car that offers the USO show or mystery will relax on the
18-mile round trip. Meal choices will include prime rib, chicken almondine, halibut or pasta primevera. Entrees also will offer soup, salad and an apple dessert.

The environment in the train cars conveys a setting that harkens back to the 1940s. On the way to Fremont, the bus will stop for refreshments in Omaha and then drop persons to shop or browse at Cabela's in La Vista, Neb.

"We are excited to again offer a trip which our past passengers have requested," says Jean Pekarek, the Burgess Health Center director that organizes the trips. "People have been so enthusiastic about our Burgess Advantage trips. These short day tours show that you don't have to be a hospital patient to gain benefits from Burgess that add value to your life."

The fee of $95 or $75 for Burgess Health Center volunteers covers dinner, the shows, refreshments, bus travel and tips. To register call Pekarek at Burgess, 712-423-9201.
