Public Welcome to All New Book Sale at Burgess

The Burgess Health Center Auxiliary will offer a unique book sale to the general public as well as its own employees in the new hospital lobby on Monday, Nov. 26 from 8 a.m. till 5:30 p.m.

The sale will feature all new best sellers, cookbooks, children’s books, inspirational, home improvement and gardening books, calendars, music CDs and more.

Gifts for both adults and children also will be sold.

The sale is expected to generate revenue for Auxiliary projects while also offering people a fun shopping experience that helps them with holiday gift giving.

“With the completion of the beautiful Burgess lobby, we are pleased to offer a great space for a book sale in a warm and inviting atmosphere,” says Jean Pekarek, Burgess patient experiences director who works with the Auxiliary. “We welcome members of the community to shop at Burgess for special books and gifts for Christmas at unbeatable low prices.”

The book sale is a first, Pekarek says, adding the timing is ideal for persons in the shopping spirit right after the popular Thanksgiving sales weekend.
Credit cards will be accepted. Burgess offers close and convenient parking.
