New Year’s Baby Arrives at Burgess

Baby boy Jaydon Douglas Blume became the first baby of 2007 at Burgess Health Center on Jan. 1 when he was born at 7:46 p.m.

The son of Nikki Keiner and Garred Blume was 8 lbs., 11 ounces and 21 inches, the same exact weight as last year’s New Year’s baby boy.

As a New Year’s baby Jaydon and his parents received a hand- made afghan and hat from Peggy Ingram of the Onawa Kiwanis Club and gifts from Burgess Family Beginnings.
Sue Cutler of the Burgess Health Center Auxiliary gave them with a hand-painted picture personalized with info of their newborn son. Congrats to mom and dad.
