It’s a Girl! Burgess Welcomes Christmas Baby

Meet Sophia Grace LeClair, newborn daughter of Vincent and Saraha LeClair of Soldier, Iowa.

Born Dec. 21 at Burgess Health Center shortly after 7 p.m., she is a Christmas gift to her proud parents and the Christmas baby of Burgess. The six lb., seven ounce baby girl was 19 and a half inches long.

“The staff was always checking me and offering support and Sophia is doing wonderful,” said her mom Saraha who was actually due right after Christmas. “She is a special Christmas present.”

For her holiday arrival the tiny newborn received special hospital gifts – a white sleeper, two Christmas stocking hats and a “Baby's First Christmas” tree ornament – all donated by Burgess Family Beginnings. In addition the Burgess Auxiliary presented her with a large red Christmas stocking.
