He then earned his CRNA from the Mayo Clinic School of Anesthesia in Rochester, MN in 1974. Dick's been a member of Burgess Health Center's anesthesiology staff since 1977.
Cardiology
	Amy J. Arouni, M.D. Dr. Arouni graduated with her medical degree from Creighton University and remained at Creighton to complete her Internal Medicine Residency and Cardiovascular Fellowship. She was appointed Chief Fellow during her final year of fellowship. Dr. Arouni is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology. She is board certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Disease. Her specialty is noninvasive cardiology with an interest in women’s heart disease and heart failure.
	Michael G. Del Core, M.D. Dr. Del Core, a New York native, graduated from Creighton University School of Medicine and completed his Internal Medicine Residency and Cardiology Fellowship at Creighton University Medical Center. Dr. Del Core is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology and The Society of Cardiac Angiography and Interventions. He is board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Diseases and Interventional Cardiology; his specialty is Interventional Cardiology. Dr. Del Core received the 2007 Golden Apple Award for excellence in teaching and dedication to patient care.

Dr. Hunter is board certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Diseases. She has special interest in medical education and congestive heart failure.

	Susan M. Schima, M.D. Dr. Susan Schima graduated from Creighton University School of Medicine in 2001. She completed a residency in Internal Medicine at Creighton in 2005 and served as a chief resident, then went on to complete a Cardiovascular Fellowship at Creighton in 2008. Dr. Schima is board certified with the American Board of Internal Medicine in Internal Medicine. She has a full-time faculty appointment as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Medicine.

He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Louisville (KY) and Marshall College (W. VA). Dr. Bill played an instrumental role in both the fundraising and building of Burgess Memorial Hospital which originally opened in July 1963. Dr. Bill served as Chairman of the Hospital Board from the initial board organization meeting in 1959 until his move to Arizona and Wyoming in 1989. He returned to practice at Family Medicine Clinic in August 2004 and is a member of the active medical staff and a Director Emeritus of the Board.

Her success in overcoming a difficult childhood, a reading disorder, and a stroke to obtain a medical degree was highlighted in national magazines, TV talk shows and a 1986 CBS TV movie. She has practiced at medical clinics in Hawaii, Idaho, Wisconsin and Ohio and is board certified by the American Board of Family Practice. Dr. Mary is a member of the active medical staff with both medical and obstetrical privileges.
